Selected Scripture

John 20

25 The other disciples therefore said to him, We have seen the Lord. But he said to them, Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and put my finger into the mark of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe. 26 And eight days after, his disciples were again within, and Thomas with them. Jesus comes, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst and said, Peace [be] to you. 27 Then he says to Thomas, Bring thy finger here and see my hands; and bring thy hand and put it into my side; and be not unbelieving, but believing.

Selected Hymn Verse

Hymns and Spiritual Songs for the Little Flock (rev 1962), #307, Verse 5

Blind unbelief is sure to err,
And scan His work in vain;
God is His own interpreter,
And He will make it plain.
