13 Christ has redeemed us out of the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, (for it is written, Cursed [is] every one hanged upon a tree,) 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come to the nations in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Thou hast the cross endurèd
In love beyond all measure,
The curse, the grave, Thy saints to save,
And have us as Thy treasure.
We see Thee as the Victim,
Our sins and sorrows bearing,
The Lamb once slain, alive again,
The crown of glory wearing.
